About me

Hi, I’m Jamie!

When I became a parent in 2013, I was inspired to assist others in navigating similar life challenges. Since 2017, I have worked across areas of community services, youth work, mental health support and child-centred play therapy.

The challenges I have faced in my own life journey have made me passionate about fostering a non-judgemental, authentic and collaborative service for my clients. I believe it is important to recognise and normalise the experiences of being human.

Roots & Wings Counselling and Play Therapy was formed with the belief that our roots provide growth and our wings provide flight. Combined, we achieve freedom.
